Music
Music is a lifelong passion of mine. I began playing piano as a child with the encouragement of my grandmother, and I got this Yamaha as a grad student. It’s traveled with me across the country from North Carolina to Pennsylvania. No matter how many instruments I dabble in, piano will always be my first love.
Some say you should find one thing you’re good at and stick with it. Then there’s the Renaissance person: forever trying new things. I took up harp when I arrived in Pittsburgh, and I’ll never look back. Nowadays I have a few harps, and a harmonica too.
